Shinji Sanada is one of Musashi's forward trio. He often scores with headers thanks to his height. In Yomiuri Land, he and the other two of the trio, Minoru Honma and Akira Ichinose, helped Musashi won their matches even without Misugi. However, in the semi-final, Musashi lost to Nankatsu, 4-5.
