The 2010 round was announced after the moderately successful 1984 Twist round. It was again to be a non-twist round. It was decided by the planners to be more Euro-centric than other rounds, leaving a pivotal role for the EU. It would be led by 3 admins; West, Europe and East. Many veteran players made a(n official) comeback this round.
