Vassilis Zabat, nicknamed the Emperor's Champion, was a human male Emperor's Royal Guard. He was a skilled combatant, and considered by Emperor Palpatine to be one of his best guardsmen. Because of that, Zabat often was tasked with carrying out personal missions for the Emperor, mainly assassination. His jobs were noted to usually be similar to that of Imperial Intelligence. During them, Zabat often wore the armor of Emperor's Shadow Guards, though was not officially one. Due to his dedication and skill, Zabat was given the title of Emperor's Champion, and received the most prestigious medal in the Galactic Empire, the Emperor's Will.
