In Valkyria Chronicles Duel, Rank represent a player's strength and his participation in battles. Ranks are determined by Fame, which in turn can be gained after a conflict in an area is resolved. The more battles you take part in, the more Control Point you accumulate, the more Fame you will receive. Reaching higher ranks also give you certain benefits such as extra Cost for your card deck or higher File:DCT.png generated per hour. The construction of certain buildings also requires the player to have reached a certain Rank.
