Palestinian incitement refers to the promotion of hatred and violence against Jews and Israel in Palestinian society and in the official governmental institutions of the Palestinian Authority and Hamas. Israel states that such incitement harms the Israeli-Palestinian peace process. The cessation of Palestinian incitement has been a key provision of the peace process since the signing of the Oslo Accords in 1993.
