In 2008, both the First and Second College are mainly Libertarian (represented by 31 seats in the combined chambers). Other major parties are the New Labour Party (11 seats), the Movement Party (9 seats), and the Conservatives (8 seats). The Green Party has three seats and the National Front two. The Parliament is based in the parliament building in Magellan City, Pennington.
