Eiko no Mori was a small forest located in the Twilight Mountains, alongside the road which descended from the remote plateau known as the Lair. The trees in and around the Lair were mostly evergreens, primarily pines, the climate being too chilly to support deciduous trees. Bandit organizations as the Forest Killers and the Serpents of Sanada had their lairs in the forest at various times.
