A fortress built on a peninsula directly between the Tolna Canal and the rest of Lake Toran, Shasarazade is located in a position where it can monitor both Lake Toran and any possible incoming traffic from the seas beyond the Toran Republic into the Tolna Canal. As such, the naval fortress is of great strategic importance both militarily and economically.
