Free Comic Book Day is an annual event that takes place on the first Saturday of May. As the name suggests, the event encourages comic creators to give out free comic books and promote readership of their comics. Atomic Robo has had Free Comic Book Days since 2008, with the story "The Tsar Bomb". The current issues released on Free Comic Book Day were part of an anthology called Atomic Robo and Friends.
