Off the shores of Britain and Castle Britannia, lies Britanny Bay. The bay is named after the Britanny River, which flows into the bay to the east of Britain. Britanny Bay is the primary port of commerce and maritime travel amongst the cities of East and West Britanny and Castle Britannia. Though somewhat impeded by an unnamed island, it offers an easily navigable path to the greater Britannian countryside, from which may be reached nearby towns and villages. In Ultima V, the lighthouse Fogsbane lies on a small island in the bay, protecting sailors returning to Britain's busy port.
