The Cortex is an area in Meridian Bay on Mars. Situated at the rear of the Clovis Bray building in Freehold, the titular Cortex is a piece of Golden Age technology under threat from Cabal Psion Flayers. Across the dunes, a vast Cabal fleet can be seen mustering.
