In classic mythology, below Heaven, Earth, and Pontus is Tartarus, or Tartaros (in Greek it means: deep place). It is a deep, gloomy place, a pit, or an abyss used as a dungeon of torment and suffering that resides beneath the underworld. As a place of punishment, it can be considered a hell. As opposed to Hades which is more similar to the Old Testament Sheol. Like other primal entities (such as the earth and time), Tartarus is also a primordial force or deity. So, putting the two together, this is an immature newt from the deepest place.
