The Katpire was a communist empire made up of civilized cats, and was a twin empire of the Catpire, which they had a sister ship and an alliance with. They are about the same size and both are located in the Unknown Regions. The capital, Csilla, is close to Catoonie, home to Catoonie Drive Yards. The Katpire has a strong military but remained neutral during the Sith Wars, Mandalorian Wars, and the Clone Wars, but supported the Galactic Empire during the Galactic Civil War. By the end of the War, they owned 23 planets, 13 systems, and 8 sectors. Eight planets were fortress worlds.
