Diane Fontaine was a reporter who Leroy Jethro Gibbs kicked off the first crime scene, having refused to answer her questions but later realized that she could prove useful in reopening the basketball court that had been closed following rumors the Commander was involved in drugs so much so that Gibbs invited Fontaine out for lunch much to her surprise. She was later seen doing a report on a basketball court that had been reopened after Commander Brian Farrell's reputation had been cleared.
