Iunist was a Force-sensitive individual who trained as a member of the Jedi Order many hundreds of years prior to the Galactic Empire. Iunist eventually specialized as a Jedi Guardian, a branch of the Jedi that focused on physical training, prowess in battle, and lightsaber training. The Jedi Guardian once encountered Gusepp, an infamous Trandoshan tyrant, and engaged him in battle, eventually severing the reptile's hand midway along the forearm. This encounter became legendary, and Gusepp's mummified hand became a valuable artifact; stored in a hermetically sealed glass dome, the relic was worth File:AurebeshSans-Serif credit.png60,000 by the time of the Galactic Empire, during which time it came into the possession of the Nimbanel crime lord Gallo Memm.
