Avatars of Change are a hybrid species released on May 21, 2014, for Dragon Cave's 8th birthday. They were released alongside the Avatars of Creation and Avatars of Destruction. All three hybrids are produced with a Guardian of Nature as one of the parents, with the second parent having an elemental affinity that is aligned with the respective avatar. Avatars of Change are aligned with , , and elements. Each Avatar can produce offspring of either its own species, the species of its mate, or the kind of Avatar that its mate's species would have produced with a Guardian of Nature.
