Metallica By Request is a twenty five date tour by American Heavy Metal band Metallica, it would start and end in 2014. Though, in the tour the band would allow ticket holders from each show to vote for what songs they wanted to hear played. Fans would vote for seventeen songs out of the eighteen to be played, the final song would be chosen by Metallica themselves. The tour would also feature the live debut of The Frayed Ends of Sanity, being played on May 28, 2014. The song being the last 80's era Metallica song to be played live in it's entirety.
