What's in Oscar's Trash Can? and Other Good-Night Stories is a 1991 Sesame Street storybook containing three stories. "What's in Oscar's Trash Can?" is a story about Elmo and Ernie, who on a hot summer day are heading off for an Ice cream cone from Hooper's Store. As they pass Oscar's trash can, they notice a sign for a Grouch Reunion. While they look at the sign, Oscar pops up out of his trash can to cool off from the cold water in his swimming pool. The pair are amazed that there is a swimming pool in Oscar's trash can. He then tells them that he also has an ice-skating rink and a bowling alley.
