Bombay Jayashri is an Indian Carnatic music vocalist. She is a disciple of violin maestro Shri. Lalgudi G Jayaraman. Jayashri is also a music composer and a teacher. She is one of the leading playback singers of Tamil cinema with a number of chart topping songs with the composers Harris Jayaraj, Ilaiyaraaja, A. R. Rahman, Vidyasagar, Yuvan Shankar Raja and others.
