Walter Willis (born March 19, 1955) is currently the Chancellor of East Prussia, having served in that capacity since 2006, and is the leader of the ‎Christian Democrat Party, having been Party Chairman since 2002. He is the only Chancellor born after East Prussian independence in 1944, and at 51 years of age upon becoming Chancellor, was the second-youngest person to hold that position (after Lech Walesa). The son of an American expatriate, he is the only East Prussian Chancellor to have been born to a parent not from continental Europe.
