This is an organisation compramising of a maximum of 12 members at any given time, each member being in accordance with one of the star signs of the chinese zodiac. The members of the organisation are each charged with protecting 1 of 12 Juunishi. Juunishi are guardians that maintain the balance between the demon realm and the realm of humans. Each Juunishi offers their power to their guardian, in order to help them battel against any demons or enemies that they are confronted with. There are typically 6 Juunishi who bestow their powers on only female guardians and another 6 for males.
