The Order of Shamlicht (from the English dialect sham shame meaning "false", alteration of English shame, and the Scottish licht meaning "light") is an Renaissance-era secret society founded on October 3, 1537. It honors Cherub Princess Shamlicht, the cherub-goddess of false light.
