Buck Mason is a former NASCAR driver from Richmond, VA. He competed in three Nextel Cup Series events in his career. Mason's debut came in 1953, when Mason competed at Richmond. Starting positions in both of his races that year are unknown, but Mason had a mid-pack effort at Richmond that would see him finish 19th. He improved a bit at Langhorne, recording a career-best 17th place finish. Mason's final career race came in 1954, when he competed at Darlington. Starting 37th in the field of fifty, Mason again ran in the mid-pack most of the race and brought home a 27th place finish.
