Battlestar Wiki (often abbreviated to BSWiki or BW) is a wiki that is an encyclopedic reference for topics related to the Battlestar Galactica fictional universe. Conceived and launched by Joe Beaudoin Jr. on February 2005 , it uses the wiki model and is hosted independent of Wikia, Inc. on the MediaWiki software. As of June 2007, Memory Alpha contains over 2,500 articles in its English edition alone. The site is also available in Chinese, Czech, French, German, Spanish and Turkish.
