Father Lawrence Brookstone is part-time faculty. His full time job is pastor of Our Lady of Mercy, a church in the nearby town. Its a small town and a small congregation, so he is permitted to teach part time. It is without pay however. Another reason it is permitted is that in its past, the Academy was run by an order of nuns so there is a chapel on campus, and for some reason known only to a few, the Church still maintains it. So the school technically still has affiliation with Our Lady of Mercy.
