Giacinto "Marco" Pannella (born May 2, 1930) is an Italian politician, journalist and academic best known for serving as Prime Minister of Italy from 1986 until 1991, when his Social Democracy-Labour-Green coalition collapsed in a no-confidence vote and led to the election of the National Alliance's Francesco Cossiga.
