The mpisimbi, pronounced (m-pih-SIHM-bee), was one of several hybrid creatures from the planet Nyambe in the Milky Way galaxy. Like the other hybrid creatures, it was thought to possibly be created through ancient genetic engineering experiments. The mpisimbi resembled a cheetah, leopard and hyena crossbreed and live in the savannah surrounding the Stargate on Nyambe.
