The Waterfly was one of the longboats that were stolen from the Guosim by the Marlfoxes; it was also the boat Dippler used to sail in, before it was stolen. The Waterfly was destroyed by water rats, under the order of Mokkan, so that nobeast could follow him when he set off for Marlfox Island. Dippler later mourned the loss of his ship, saying it was "a good craft."
