The Mantis Demon, commanded by the Dai-Oni at the Tourney of the Planes as K'rllk, was the second champion of the Dai-Oni, sent against the Samurai Kensei after the defeat of the Toad Demon Graalsch. Despite the protection of its thick chitin, it proved incapable of fulfilling its master's orders and was vanquished in its turn. It is not known whether this was done by the Tatsu or by the Phoenix, both of whom might have been recruited as allies by the Kensei, or whether it was slain by the Samurai himself.
