Amita Fonti was a female Gossam senator who served in the Separatist Senate during the Clone Wars, a conflict fought between the Galactic Republic and Confederacy of Independent Systems. At least one year into the war, she was present on the Separatist capital planet of Raxus during Senator Mina Bonteri's proposal to open peace talks with the Republic and, alongside senators Bec Lawise and Voe Atell, Fonti participated in a peace conference with them on the neutral world of Mandalore, though the negotiations ultimately collapsed.
