The Assault in Kunar Province was an attack on a United States Air Force convoy by members of the Ten Rings terrorist organization in Afghanistan. Weapons developer Tony Stark had traveled to Bagram Air Base in the Parwān Province to host a demonstration of the Stark Industries Jericho warhead for a group of Army representatives in neighboring Kunar Province. Following the demonstration, a convoy of five Humvees transported Stark back to Bagram, but was attacked by a contingent of terrorists.
