The Anziani (singular Anziano/Anziana) are the Clan Elders of the Giovanni, who reside in Venice (although many live usually in havens outside Italy) and supervise the clan on a global scale, Further, they assist Augustus Giovanni in his pursuits should he awaken. Although all Anziani share the goal of the Endless Night (as all others who dare to question this goal are usually killed when Augustus awakens), many think that they should not act hasty and take their time tio achieve their goal (after all, they are immortal).
