The Sample 18 Project is an Abstergo Industries initiative being run via Abstergo Entertainment, aiming to explore the genetic memory of Jason Pierce, who was formerly known as Subject 18 of the Animus Project. The project received it's genetic material from Jason Pierce's blood that dropped on the floor during his escape from Abstergo Industries.
