This is a list of Canadian Major Junior Seasons. This list begins in 1970 with the creation of Major Junior "A" hockey, through 1980 when the Canadian Major Junior Hockey League distanced itself from the Canadian Amateur Hockey Association and was rebranded "Major Junior", to the current Canadian Hockey League set-up. Please note that this list will not include non-members of the Canadian Hockey League, such as the Manitoba Major Junior Hockey League.
