Born in to a military family, Tristana spent much of her early life preparing to join the Hapan Navy. She was drilled from a young age by her mother in the ways of the blade and her education was focused entirely on the more militarical aspects of life rather than the democracy that most Hapans were versed in. Chelia was a harsh teacher and pushed her daughter constantly but Tristana persevered, gaining the knowledge and skills that would be vital to her success in the Navy.Family
