Rongelo Island was an island in the Pacific Ocean. In 1954, the island was the destination of the Vixen 03 before the airplane crashed in the Rocky Mountains. In the aftermath of the plane's crash, the location of the plane's destination was covered up and replaced with Hawai'i. In 1988, after the plane was discovered in Table Lake, Colorado, Dirk Pitt suggested that the Vixen 03 was possibly carrying atomic materials for the tests being held at Bikini Atoll.
