After clearing the game on Madhouse difficulty, the Infinite Ammo will be put in the Item Box on subsequent playthroughs and will refresh in the item box should players accidentally discard one. The item must be put in Ethan's inventory for it to function. The Infinite Ammo applies to all weapons except melee weapons and the Remote Bomb, and eliminates the need to carry separate ammunitions for different weapons (enhanced ammo and differing grenade round types inclusive).
