Venz was one of several Russian bodyguards assigned to protect General Anatol Gogol, the head of the Soviet KGB. He briefly appears in the 1985 James Bond film A View to a Kill and was portrayed by Swedish actor, director, and martial artist Dolph Lundgren. The small part was Lundgren's debut role.
