The Signature Policy states that users must always sign with their signature after a post such as a blog post or a user talk page post. Breaking this rule does not result in any punishment unless it is consecutive. The Signature Policy also states that users who impersonate another user with their signature will be blocked for a short period of time the first time and further blocking if the user does not change his or her signature. Additionally, the signature cannot use photographs over 40px must not fill over two lines worth of text.
