The Desert Waste is a desert region in Egypt (Act II), that connects the Artisans' Quarter of Memphis in the south-west to the Sobek Plateau in the nord-east. You will pass this region if you take the Gate of the Palm route in Memphis. There is a Rebirth Fountain to the north-east (at the passage to the Sobek Plateau) and a Mysterious Tomb to the east. The tomb is optional, but it contains a number of treasure containers.
