Zareen was a female Cathar salvager and member of the White Maw pirates who tried to steal the Umbra encrypter from under the nose of both the Republic Army and Major Artano. However, the captain was able to make a deal her, promising her a great deal of salvage in return, and Zareen sided with Havoc Squad in a fight against Artano.
