Cartur Aagon was a powerful Force-sensitive Human male who served the Galactic Republic as a Jedi Knight, but later defected to the dark side of the Force, becoming a rouge Dark Jedi. He was a close friend of Yoda until he abandoned the Order, forcing his old ally to seek out and destroy him. His betrayal introduced a young Yoda to the strength and cunning of the dark side firsthand, further shaping him into a cold and uncompromising warrior, ultimately contributing to his promotion to Jedi Master.
