Kevin is the oldest of Mrs. Canary's chicks, she sent him over to Mopatop's Shop in the "The Brave Canary". Kevin is supposed to sing a song for the very first time at the flying feathers party, but he is very scared about it since all the other birds will be hearing him. Puppyduck tries to find a few things to make him brave, a Pirate hat and a canary flag, but none of this helps. After Kevin haa sung the song for Mopatop and Puppyduck, he lands on a Cheery Log who starts to say how wonderful Kevin was. Kevin feels a lot more confident and takes the log home with him.
