Floyd Powell ( MAY 10, 1931 - August 23, 1963) was a NASCAR driver from Chesnee, SC. He competed in six Nextel Cup Series races, earning two top-tens. Powell's debut came in 1962, when he competed at Greenville-Pickens. Starting 13th in the field of twenty-one, Powell lost his brakes late in the event but still finished 13th.
