Ikieto was the small Crane village where the wife of the Emperor Hantei, Doji Mioko, lived before the two were married. The nearby island of Michi ni Mayotta Musume Irie was where the two first met. Hantei spent a week in the nearby Bay of Green Coral when searching for his bride.
