Peockland Gardens is a housing estate in Johnstone, near Glasgow. It was a private estate built in the late 1980s as emphasis moved away from cheap council housing to home ownership under Margaret Thatcher's Conservative Government. Housing was dominantly made up of small semi detached homes that were affordable. The estate was a success despite being built next to the troubled Ritchie Park scheme and it is a sought after location with easy access to amenities in Johnstone Town Centre and within close proximity to the A737/M8 and Johnstone Railway Station.
