When worn, an amulet of greed will occasionally give messages indicating the presence of gold on the level. If there is one or piles of gold on the level, the message "you sense the presence of gold." may appear. If there is a royal vault on the level, a message will occasionally appear depending on the B/U/C status of the amulet: * Blessed: "You suddenly feel the urge to get very rich really soon!" * Uncursed: "You suddenly feel a lust for gold!" * Cursed: "You suddenly feel the urge to steal!"
