Enemies don't need to be defeated to be added in the database, they only need to be seen on the screen to obtain one battle data of them, so making enemies appear and disappear by going offscreen is a fast way to complete their data. Battle data can be obtained in any difficult and game mode, including Mission Mode. Except for some illustration (entries 2-7 from the first half, 70-79 from the second half), all database entries were included in Mega Man Legacy Collection and translated.
