Viekang is a Bhaalspawn thief whose essence affected him in a way that he could teleport out of places and be struck by lightning at the same time whenever he panicked. This is first seen in Vyatri's Pub in Trademeet, when he recognizes the protagonist as a Bhaalspawn themselves. Worrying about it, he quickly teleports away. He is later seen in Saradush in the Tankard Tree, where he will explain his condition and how Melissan treated him. A highly intelligent character can counteract his speech, in which case he will teleport away again.
