Necro Overlord Mezhen is the Necromancer in charge of awakening the Vrykul at Gjalerborn. He can be found conducting a ritual on a captured prisoner. He fights with the regular shadow bolts. He is a target for quests of Necro Overlord Mezhen for both the Alliance and the Horde. He does also drop Mezhen's Writings, which start the quest of The Slumbering King. The name may be a reference to Chris Metzen, Vice President of Creative Design at Blizzard.
